Pathogenic microbial infection detection
clinical significance
Pathogenic microorganisms include bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, mycoplasma/chlamydia, etc. Clinical infection is often a mixed infection of multiple pathogenic microorganisms at the same time or successively. The clinical manifestations are atypical, making diagnosis and treatment complicated, and the current positive rate of laboratory tests is low.
Detection introduction
The pathogenic microorganism infection detection project independently developed by AlloDx uses a high-throughput sequencing platform to obtain species information of suspected pathogenic microorganisms through comparison with the self-built microorganism-specific database PMDB2.0 and intelligent bioinformatics algorithm analysis, and provides a comprehensive analysis report.
This test covers more than 7,500 pathogenic microorganisms and can achieve rapid and comprehensive pathogen identification.

Technical advantages
√ High accuracy:The detection positivity rate is 25~30% higher than that of traditional methods
√ Direct detection:Specimens do not need to be cultured and DNA can be directly extracted for testing.
√ Broad pathogen coverage:Comprehensive coverage of more than 7,500 microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, parasites, mycoplasma/chlamydia, etc.
