Good news! Expert consensus on the clinical application of donor-derived cell-free DNA detection in kidney transplantation (2022 version) is officially online

Recently, the "Expert Consensus on the Clinical Application of Donor-derived Cell-free DNA Detection in Kidney Transplantation" (2022 Edition) was officially released online in the Chinese Journal of Transplantation.

This consensus was co-written, discussed and finalized by 28 experts in the field of transplantation from 20 domestic organ transplantation centers. It brings together clinical application experience in the fields of different organ transplantation, pediatric transplantation, rejection, and BK virus-related kidney disease diagnosis and treatment, laying a solid foundation for the expanded application of donor-derived cfDNA in the field of transplantation.

It has taken nearly five years for donor-derived cfDNA testing to reach initial consensus on clinical application in China from its inception and controversy.
